Job Title: Service Manager Learning Disability Service
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £30,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Service Manager for our small learning disability service in Cheltenham. This position offers the perfect opportunity for an aspiring Deputy Manager to step up into a Registered Manager's role, supported by a caring and nurturing provider.

Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care and support.
- Managing and leading a dedicated team of support staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support as needed.
- Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
- Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure holistic care and support.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a team, ideally within a similar care setting.
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, complex care needs, and mental health challenges.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and independence for all individuals.
