Role: Occupational Therapist (Maternity Cover)
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours)
Salary: £17.03 p/h

My client are currently looking for an Occuaptional Therapist to join their team in An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic and friendly team in Essex, on the border of London. This is a maternity cover role, with a fixed term for 6-12 months, with the possibility of extension.
My client is a not-for-profit business, focusing primarily on adults iwth neurological and complex physical disabilities. They are looking for an OT with neurological experience, with a drive to provide the highest quality care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide assessment, treatment and management of residents
• Manage caseloads and assess the needs of the residents with complex requirements
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team, and ensure great communication to ensure you're working together on the decision-making process with regards to resident care, rehabilitation pathways and care plans.
• Ensure a safe, timely, and smooth transitional approach to discharge planning for intermediate care
• Work alongside the OT Lead re assessmsents, and developments/implementation and evaluation of care pathways for the residents
• Provide specialist advice to service users
• Communicate effectively with residents, family members and all care staff (internal and external) involved in an individual's care.
Requirements:
• HCPC Registered
• Minimum of 2 years post qualified experience
• Great communication skills
