Systems Training Manager – Hybrid-£40K
Location: Derby (Hybrid – 80% remote)
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time (37 hours per week)
Salary: £38,725 rising to £40,185 after 6-month probation
Are you passionate about developing high-quality systems training and leading a dynamic team? We're recruiting for a Systems Training Manager to join a national charity and shape the future of systems learning across a multi-site organisation.
This is a brand-new role and a rare opportunity to make a real impact—leading a team responsible for designing and delivering innovative, engaging systems training for both existing platforms and upcoming implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, lead, and support a small Systems Training Team to deliver high performance.
- Design and deliver training for approximately 21 existing systems and all future rollouts.
- Create accessible and engaging digital learning materials aligned with organisational systems and policies.
- Collaborate with project teams, subject matter experts, and operational leaders.
- Deliver training both online and in person, adapting content for diverse audiences.
About You:
You’re a creative and driven leader with a strong background in systems training and a commitment to improving the learning experience. You will bring:
- Experience managing or leading a training team.
- A track record of designing and delivering systems training.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ideally, experience working in a multi-site organisation and alongside project teams.
Desirable (not essential):
- Experience in the health or social care sector.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
- Confidence using Microsoft Teams and Office 365 to deliver training.
Hybrid Working and Travel:
This role is primarily home-based (around 80%), with regular travel to the Derby head office and occasional visits to sites across England and Wales.
