Day Nurse – Nursing & EMI Home
Location: Liverpool | £19.00 per hour | Flexible contracts available (24, 36, or 48 hours per week)
A well regarded nursing and EMI home in Liverpool is currently seeking Day Nurses to join its dedicated care team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a compassionate and person centred environment where residents' dignity, comfort, and personal choices are genuinely respected.
The home is offering flexibility to suit different lifestyles and availability, with opportunities for:
- 1 nurse at 36 hours per week
- 2 nurses at 48 hours per week
OR
- 4 nurses at 24 hours per week

About the Home:
The service provides nursing and specialist EMI care for older adults in a warm, homely setting. The team embraces a person centred approach, promoting active lifestyles, independence, and engagement with meaningful activities. Residents enjoy a rich social calendar, including music and arts, life skills, baking, gardening, pet care, and reminiscence therapy—particularly effective for those living with dementia.

The Role:
Day Nurses will be responsible for delivering high standards of nursing care and supporting residents to maintain their health, independence, and wellbeing throughout the day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering personalised nursing care in line with residents’ care plans
- Administering medications and managing clinical interventions
- Working collaboratively with care staff and other professionals
- Monitoring health needs and responding promptly to changes
- Promoting a safe, calm, and engaging daytime environment
- Providing emotional support to residents and their families
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration (RGN or RMN)
- Experience in elderly care or EMI/dementia care is an advantage
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- A compassionate, resident-first approach to care
- Commitment to maintaining dignity, respect, and choice in all care interactions
