Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Complex Mental Health (CQC & Ofsted Regulated)
Location: Bradford
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Are you an experienced leader passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with complex mental health needs?
We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee a 6-bed service supporting children aged 10–18 with highly complex mental health needs. As one of the top 1% services in the country, this is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team working closely with clinical professionals, including psychologists, physicians, social workers, and occupational health assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of a 6-bed service, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with CQC and Ofsted regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet the complex needs of children and young people.
- Lead and inspire a dedicated staff team, promoting professional growth and development.
- Ensure the home runs efficiently and meets its goals, while supporting the progression of both staff and young people.
- Take a hands-on approach to training, mentoring, and fostering an inclusive, supportive environment.
- Participate in on-call duties on a shared 1-in-8-week rota with other managers.
- Current Home Status:
- All homes currently rated Good by CQC, with one home rated Outstanding.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in management within CQC or Ofsted-regulated settings, preferably with children’s services.
- Strong background in supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs.
- Demonstrated longevity and career progression in previous roles, with hands-on experience working your way up in care.
- Ability to manage general operations, including recruitment, compliance, and service development.
- A flexible, proactive work ethic with a focus on teamwork and achieving results.
- Full UK driving license.
- Willingness to assist in setting up the service and establishing a strong foundation for success.
