Job Title: Registered Manager – Learning DisabilitiesLocation: Solihull, West MidlandsSalary: £40,000 per annumHours: Full-Time, Permanent________________________________________About the Role:Claire at Amber Mace is recruiting for a compassionate, experienced, and proactive Registered Manager to oversee the operations of a residential care home in Solihull that supports adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader to make a real difference in people’s lives while ensuring the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance.As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring person-centred care, staff management, and full compliance with CQC standards.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:• Take full managerial responsibility for the residential service and maintain CQC registration.• Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care for individuals with learning disabilities.• Lead and motivate a team of care professionals, promoting a culture of support, inclusion, and accountability.• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, medication administration, and safeguarding practices.• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and CQC regulations.• Recruit, develop, and retain staff through effective training, supervision, and appraisals.• Build and maintain strong relationships with families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.• Manage budgets, rota planning, and day-to-day administration to ensure smooth service delivery.• Handle incident reports, complaints, and ensure continuous service improvement.________________________________________Requirements:• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent) – essential• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a learning disabilities setting• Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills• A person-centred and outcome-focused approach to care• Full UK driving licence preferred________________________________________What We Offer:• Competitive salary of £40,000 per annum• Supportive senior management team and positive workplace culture• Ongoing professional development and training opportunities• Generous holiday allowance and pension scheme________________________________________How to Apply:If you are a passionate leader ready to take the next step in your career and make a genuine impact, please call Claire at Amber Mace on 01904 571187 or email your updated CV to claire@ambermace.com
