Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our nursing home in Romford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing nursing homes and ideally hold an active Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service are delivered to all residents.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care and service.
- Manage budgets and financial plans, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Handle any issues or complaints that arise in a professional and timely manner.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for both residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager.
- Ideally possess an active NMC PIN.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial plans effectively.
