Job Title: Registered Care Manager
Salary: £38K - £42K
Location: Derby
We are recruiting for one of our clients who are looking for a Registered Manager in their small residential home located on the outskirts of Derby, committed to providing high-quality care for individuals with diverse needs including dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and more. Their mission is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where residents can thrive and receive the personalized care they deserve.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the residential home, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident.
• Provide leadership and support to the care team, fostering a positive working environment.
• Ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times, in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Act as a point of contact for residents, their families, and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or queries in a timely and compassionate manner.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor residents' progress and make any necessary adjustments to their care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and external agencies to coordinate additional support and services as required.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a management role within a similar care setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
