Job Title: Regional Support Manager (NMC Registered) – Nursing Homes
Location: South of England, with occasional national travel as required
Salary: £75,000 per annum + 40p per mile + Hotel accommodation covered

Well, Fiona at Amber Mace is working with a National Care Home company who are looking for a motivated and experienced Regional Support Manager (RSM) with an active NMC nursing PIN to join their team, covering predominantly the South of England with flexibility for national coverage as needed.
This role is ideal for a strong Registered Manager ready to step up into a regional role or an experienced RSM seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will have a proven background in dementia nursing home management and the skills to create effective support plans for home managers.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide operational and strategic support to nursing homes across the region, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance
-Collaborate with home managers to assess needs, develop targeted support plans, and drive improvements in care quality, resident -satisfaction, and CQC outcomes
-Act as a resource for home managers, offering guidance on clinical practices, staffing, resident care, and compliance issues
-Conduct regular site visits to provide hands-on support and build positive relationships with staff at all levels
-Monitor and analyze performance metrics and outcomes to ensure the continuous improvement of services
-Offer leadership, mentorship, and training to managers and teams, helping develop their skills and expertise
-Ensure that all homes maintain or improve their CQC ratings, with a particular focus on dementia care
Requirements:
-Active NMC Nursing PIN – essential
-Proven experience as a Registered Manager within dementia-focused nursing homes, with a track record of successful CQC outcomes
-Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks in the UK healthcare sector
-Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with teams across multiple locations
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop clear and sensible support plans based on individual home needs
-Flexibility to travel predominantly within the South of England, with occasional national travel as required by the company
