Job Title: Occupational Health Technician
Location: Morecambe/Preston based, with client site travel
Hours: Full time
Salary: £24k
Amber Mace are currently working with a small OH Provider looking for an OH Technician to join their expanding team in the Morecambe area. You will work both within the Morecambe clinic and the surround areas at client sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about promoting workplace health and safety to contribute to a positive working environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
As an Occupational Health Technician, you will work closely with the Occupational Health team to support various health and safety initiatives within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Conducting health assessments and screenings for employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Maintaining accurate health records and confidential medical information of employees.
• Collaborating with the Occupational Health Advisor to develop and implement health promotion programs.
• You will be able to work some OH Administrative roles in order to keep in touch with the Customer Service aspect of the role
• Contributing to the development of health-related policies and procedures.
• Supporting the implementation of employee wellness programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Occupational Health Technician or related role is desirable but not mandatory. New graduates with relevant qualifications will also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Empathetic and supportive approach towards employees' health concerns.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Willingness to travel through Manchester to client sites
