About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our team in Colchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a passion for elderly care and the skills to manage a high-quality nursing home. The successful candidate will have an active PIN and proven experience in nursing home management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service.
- Lead and manage the care team, promoting a positive and supportive working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CQC requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care and service delivery.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of residents’ care plans to ensure their needs are being met.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among the staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Essential - Active NMC PIN.
- Proven experience in nursing home management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Compassionate and caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
