Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at our residential care home in Leighton Buzzard. This permanent position is ideal for a Care Team Leader looking to advance their career or an existing Deputy Manager seeking a new opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Care Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home.
- Ensure high standards of care and support are maintained for residents.
- Lead and manage the care team, promoting a positive and supportive working environment.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of residents' care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Support staff development through training and mentorship.
- Handle administrative tasks related to care management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a care home setting is essential.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and their families.
- Knowledge of relevant care standards and regulations.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is preferred.
