Nursing Home Manager - 55k - Barnsley
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Kelsey is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to join a dedicated team within a Nursing Home in Barnsley. As a Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to the residents, overseeing the nursing staff, and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Provide strong clinical leadership within the nursing home, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care that meets the unique needs of our residents.
Monitor and maintain high standards of care, compliance, and safety within the nursing home environment.
Lead, motivate, and mentor nursing staff, creating a supportive and nurturing work environment.
Identify and address training needs, organize relevant training sessions, and support the ongoing professional development of nursing staff.
Work closely with the manager and care team to ensure that each resident receives personalised and compassionate care, respecting their dignity and choices.
Foster positive communication with residents' families, addressing concerns and keeping them informed about their loved one's care.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements applicable to nursing homes.
Be available to provide leadership and support during emergencies or critical situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
Requirements:
Possession of a valid RGN PIN
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a nursing home setting, with demonstrated leadership skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care, promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Willingness to work 2 floor shifts and 2 supernumerary shifts per week, adapting to the needs of the nursing home.
A passion for delivering high-quality care to elderly residents and contributing to their overall well-being.
