Job Title: Care Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Care Operations manager to join a growing and exciting service. The successful candidate will be an experienced people manager with excellent communication skills that is capable of leading and motivating a team. As Area Manager you will be overseeing 5 small services within the West Midlands that specialise within Autism and challenging behaviour. You will assist the home managers as well as be a representative of finance, purchasing and quality. You will have experience of working as a senior manager within the care sector and be excited to take on a brilliant new challenge.
As a Care Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our care services. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and quality of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare or related industries, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional care to clients.
Operational Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of care services, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery.
Implement and monitor processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
Recruit, train, and supervise care staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and industry standards.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
Monitor and evaluate service delivery to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Client Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
Address client concerns and feedback promptly, working towards continuous improvement.
Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage budgets for care operations.
Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance.
Qualifications:
NVQ level 5 or equivalent.
Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare or social services sector.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in using relevant software and technology for data analysis.
