An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead a newly established care home in the heart of Kendal. The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the service to achieve and maintain high regulatory standards
  • Building, developing, and motivating a dedicated care team
  • Establishing a positive, values-led culture within the home
  • Overseeing care planning, risk management, and quality assurance processes
  • Managing staffing, rotas, recruitment, and performance
  • Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements
  • Driving continuous improvement and preparing for inspections
  • Developing strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals

About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing care services and achieving positive inspection outcomes.

They will demonstrate:

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a care setting
  • A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance
  • The ability to lead from the front and establish credibility quickly
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
  • A proactive, resilient approach with the ability to manage change effectively
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and improving lives
