Job Advert: Registered Manager - Care Home
Location: Halifax
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to enhance and develop our established care home, which is new to our company. You will oversee all aspects of the care home, including quality improvement, staff management, financial oversight, and building relationships with local commissioners. With innovative digital systems in place, you'll spend less time on paperwork and more time focused on delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead quality initiatives and promote continuous improvement throughout the service.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional care.
• Manage referrals and ensure that the home maintains full occupancy.
• Use data-driven insights to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Commissioning Manager to shape and refine the service model.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local commissioners, healthcare professionals, and the community.
• Oversee financial management to ensure sustainability and success.
• Lead marketing efforts to drive customer relationships and enhance the service's reputation.
About You:
• Experience as a Registered Manager or substantial managerial experience in a care setting.
• Deep understanding of care home best practices, sector-specific regulations, and governance frameworks.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, capable of inspiring and motivating a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build partnerships with local commissioners and healthcare professionals.
• Well-versed in clinical, business, operational, and digital management to enhance service delivery.
• Adept at time management, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Nursing experience is desirable but not essential.
