Description

Occupational Health Advisor – Peripatetic Role

Location: Doncaster / Knottingley / Leeds / York – occasional travel beyond

Hours: Full-time or Part-time (minimum 3 days/week)

Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 DOE + Travel expenses (45p per mile)

Are you an experienced Occupational Health Advisor who enjoys variety, independence, and working with a company that truly values its team?

Do you thrive in a role that gets you out and about – but also ensures you’re not stretched too thin?

My client are expanding their expert team and are looking for an OHA to cover sites in Doncaster, Knottingley, Leeds, York and occasionally further afield (like Congleton or Leicester). If you’re someone who enjoys the flexibility and autonomy of travel, while still being part of a supportive and stable team, this is the role for you.

The Role:

  • Peripatetic OHA – visiting client sites in your region (and further afield when required in line with business needs)
  • Responsible for both health surveillance and management referrals, so experience in both is essential
  • Flexible structure:
    • Full time – 4 days peripatetic + 1 day working from home
    • Part time 3 or 4 days per week, with or 1 day from home every other week

What We’re Looking For:

  • Solid experience in Health Surveillance and Management Referrals
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Confident working autonomously across multiple sites

What’s In It For You?

  • £45,000 DOE (or £38–£40k fixed if doing the OH degree – with full support!)
  • Travel paid at 45p per mile
  • One-month induction so you’re never thrown in the deep end
  • Educational support (i.e. if you’re looking to complete the OH degree)
  • Genuinely supportive culture – they don’t burn staff out
  • Low staff turnover – they take pride in looking after their staff – this role hasn’t opened due to someone leaving, rather they’re focused on ensuring more of a work-life balance for their staff
  • You’ll never be just a number. You’ll be valued, supported, and part of a genuinely close-knit team
