Role: Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Derbyshire
Hours: 4 days per week
Salary: Up to £50k
Cases: 4 per day

Amber Mace are working with a client looking for an OH Advisor to join a busy, fast-paced in-house Occupational Health service.

This is a hands-on clinical role where you will be delivering high-quality occupational health advice, managing a varied caseload, and supporting employees and managers with timely, practical guidance.

You’ll be joining a supportive but high-performing team where no two days are the same, and responsiveness really matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied occupational health caseload (approx. 4 cases per day, flexible)
- Delivering fitness for work assessments and management referrals
- Supporting return-to-work and absence management processes
- Providing clear, practical clinical advice to managers and HR
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary OH team
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to KPI delivery
- Supporting a proactive, preventative approach to workforce health

About You
- Registered Nurse
- OH qualification ideal (10+ years experience if no qualification)
- Strong case management experience
- Confident delivering clear, evidence-based OH advice
- Able to manage workload effectively in a busy environment
- Strong communicator with good stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working onsite as part of a team
