Job: Deputy Manager
Salary: £29k per annum
Hours: 40 per week
Location: Radstock, Somerset

Amber Mace Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join a prestigious healthcare organisation based in Radstock, Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a background in the learning disability sector and a passion for leadership, offering a competitive salary.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in deputy managerial positions within a care setting and hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification. They will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager in the efficient operation of the care home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home
  • Provide strong leadership and support to the care staff team
  • Maintain excellent standards of care, adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure the care home operates effectively in line with the needs of the residents
  • Oversee the implementation of care plans and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and promote the care home's services
  • Uphold a person-centered approach, promoting dignity, independence, and respect

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a care setting
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Sound knowledge of care standards and regulatory requirements
  • Previous experience with Learning Disabilities/Autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
