Job Title: Clinical Lead (Nights)
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Location: Rochdale
Shifts: 5 nights per week (10 PM - 6 AM) or alternating weeks: 3 nights (12-hour shifts, 6 PM - 6 AM) one week, 4 nights the next

Overview:
Kelsey at amber mace is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Lead to oversee night shifts at our care home. This role requires a highly skilled nurse with strong clinical expertise and experience in driving cultural change. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, leading and supporting the night staff, and managing critical clinical areas such as medication management and infection control.

Key Responsibilities:
• Champion excellence in clinical standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Elevate nursing standards, foster innovation, and empower nursing teams.
• Exercise professional judgment and provide expert advice in clinical assessments and care planning.
• Strengthen team collaboration to deliver quality, safe, and effective care.
• Lead on Medication Management across the care home.
• Oversee infection prevention and control, implementing audits and actions.
• Manage Health & Safety for clinical care, ensuring policy compliance.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team on nutrition and hydration.
• Contribute to reducing healthcare-acquired infections and assess infection prevention standards.
• Provide education in infection control and support national vaccination programs.
• Support clinical leadership development and uphold high standards of care.
• Attend and contribute to key internal and external professional forums.
• Inspire, motivate, and empower the nursing team.

Experience and Qualifications:
• Qualified RNMH/RNLD/RGN with active NMC registration.
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in establishing and implementing robust clinical governance processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Exceptional understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement.
• Experience in delivering training and development programs to enhance clinical practice.
• NVQ Level 3/5 preferred but not essential.
