Job Title: Clinical Lead
Salary: £50K
Location: Bristol
Setting: Nursing Home
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Lead to join our team at a well-established nursing home. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. As Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager and the wider multidisciplinary team to drive clinical excellence and support the ongoing development of our staff and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong clinical leadership and act as a role model to nursing and care staff.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with best practice and CQC standards.
- Support, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, including managing performance and conducting clinical audits.
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessment, and clinical governance.
- Liaise with residents, families, GPs, and external agencies to coordinate care effectively.
- Monitor and manage medication administration and clinical documentation.
- Assist the Home Manager in ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RGN/RMN).
- Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or an extensive career in nursing with proven leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of care standards, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional care to elderly residents, including those with complex health needs and dementia.
