The successful candidate will be responsible for working with clinics, client sites and home based appointments, using their innovative technology to enhance their customer’s experience.

Role Duties:
With this role, you will undertake a range of services, including the following:
• You will conduct health surveillance and provide reports
• You will provide assessments and screening, reporting the outcomes in line with our clients procedures
• You will be responsible for case management, providing reports for the OH Managers when required
• Provide clear advice regarding health and wellbeing
• Create risk assessments and report appropriately if required
• Assist with providing preventative strategies
• Conduct pre-placement reviews, and fitness for work reports when required.

• Registered General Nurse, NMC registered
• You must hold a valid NMC Pin
• For this position, you are required to hold an Occupational Health Qualification (degree/diploma)
• Previous experience within the Occupational Health sector
• Due to the travel between clinics and sites – the ideal candidate would have a driving license and own vehicle.

Hours: Part Time, 7.5 Hours PW

Are you a qualified OH advisor looking to expand their knowledge and experience of the sector? Lindsay at Amber Mace has a part-time vacancy for an Occupational Health Advisor based in Hereford. This is a part time role, 1 day per week (7.5 hours), ideally a Tuesday.
Your role will consist mainly of case management, carrying out mini health checks, occasional preplacement screening and health surveillance. You will be joining a supportive team environment – this is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified advisor who would like to improve their skills working for a large national OH provider.

• Registered on Part 3
• Ability to work autonomously is essential
• Proven experience in complex case management
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge/experience with health surveillance and fit for work assessments – audio; respiratory, HAVs tier 2, skin, safety critical
• Knowledge of venepuncture is desirable, although not essential

Main Duties:
• Provide a proficient, evidence-based case management service
• Create and maintain comprehensive evidence-based reports
• Work within best practice requirements and adhere to company policy and protocol
• Monitor and assess the results of medicals and surveillance, escalating where clinically appropriate
• Supervise and support your team where needed
• Work within the NMC guidelines and be committed to continuous learning and development as a registered nurse

Are you educated to degree level in a STEM subject? Do you have work experience in the Occupational Hygiene field? Then Lindsay at Amber Mace would love to hear from you. I am recruiting for a national occupational health provider, who are looking for an OH technician to join their team based in Somerset. You will report to the occupational health lead and work alongside a team of other OHT’s.

Essential Skills/Qualifications for the role:
• Degree qualification in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths related subject
• At least one years’ experience working in the Occupational Hygiene field
• Be working towards Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (CertOH) of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS)

Duties of the Role:
• Monitoring of occupational hygiene for a range of chemical, physical and biological agents
• Implement workplace inspections to appraise occupational hygiene-related issues and promote workplace health themes within the team
• Assist with preparation and delivery of training and information relating to occupational hygiene
• Liase effectively with local authorities and the occupational hygiene lead, regularly updating and circulating occupational hygiene performance reports
• Manager and action requests for on-boarding, transfer and removal of chemicals
• Produce reports pertaining to said chemicals
• Maintenance of chemical database, supporting the HPC chemist
• Support COSHH assessments
• Peform COSHH inspections of platforms and workplaces, including off site facilities

If you have a valid UK NMC PIN and have some experience working in an A&E setting, then Lindsay at Amber Mace would love to hear from you!
