The successful candidate will be responsible for working with clinics, client sites and home based appointments, using their innovative technology to enhance their customer’s experience.

Role Duties:
With this role, you will undertake a range of services, including the following:
• You will conduct health surveillance and provide reports
• You will provide assessments and screening, reporting the outcomes in line with our clients procedures
• You will be responsible for case management, providing reports for the OH Managers when required
• Provide clear advice regarding health and wellbeing
• Create risk assessments and report appropriately if required
• Assist with providing preventative strategies
• Conduct pre-placement reviews, and fitness for work reports when required.

Requirements:
• Registered General Nurse, NMC registered
• You must hold a valid NMC Pin
• For this position, you are required to hold an Occupational Health Qualification (degree/diploma)
• Previous experience within the Occupational Health sector
• Due to the travel between clinics and sites – the ideal candidate would have a driving license and own vehicle.

Role:

Occupational Health Nurse- Dunfermline

Hours: 2 days a week- Monday & Tuesday

Our client is a market leading provider who are looking for an enthusiastic team player looking for an Occupational Health Nurse to join their expanding team in Dunfermline. This a fantastic opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary team running clinics, and health surveillance within clinic sites.

The role will consist of general medicals and health surveillance but also emergency response cover as required. The successful individual will need to hold a full UK drivers license because they will be required to drive the emergency response vehicle on site.
• To provide professional advice, support and guidance to the client and wider multidisciplinary team. Act as a professional role model.
• To assess new clients presenting to Occupational Health providing sound clinical advice and treatment.
• To assess client’s fitness to work for the appropriate job role in line with DHC policies and guidelines and issue appropriate fitness certificates to the line manager, client and file copy.
• To write letters to GP/Specialists in line with the Access to Medical Reports Act and Data Protection Act.
• To respond to client/manager’s requests for support/information on the working environment.
• To provide clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury.
• To provide competent treatment/referral of clients under DHC guidelines and PGDs.
• To maintain appropriate records in line with departmental protocols on record keeping
• To provide health surveillance in accordance with current legislation, undertake a wider range of clinical activities by ensuring appropriate training, updating and monitoring of relevant training programmes. In line with DHC policies and guidelines.
• To ensure clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice.
• Any other duties within the scope of the post commensurate with grade
• To provide clinical support to the first aid provision on site

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Registration with NMC Part 1
• Previous experience/qualification in emergency nursing/A&E
• You must be a Registered nurse with a valid nurse pin
• Experience in Occupational Health would be preferable

Amber Mace are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join their client’s independent service based in Glasgow. The service is a 25 bed neuro behavioural assessment and post-acute rehabilitation hospital for people with acquired brain injury and complex needs. On the same site there is also a new development, (16 bed) that includes transitional living options for people with high risk profiles. Both services have an excellent reputation; One service has received an ‘Exceptional’ grade from Healthcare Improvement Scotland, and the Care Inspectorate reported 16 bed service had ‘very good’ quality of care and support.

Role:
• Providing specialist psychological assessment of our service users, using psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report scales, structured observations and interviews with all stakeholder;
• Formulating and implementing specialist psychological treatment plans for mental health and adjustment difficulties based on a multi-factorial psychological understanding and current evidence-based best practice;
• Contributing highly specialist psychological advice to the multi-disciplinary formulation of appropriate therapeutic approaches or intervention plans;
• Undertaking psychologically based risk assessment and risk management for relevant service users and advising team members appropriately;
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings concerned with the delivery and development of clinical services;

Requirements:
• British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited degree
• Approved and registered with HCPC
• The ability to communicate effectively with all parties to keep everyone updated
• Experience in mental health psychiatry and rehabilitation is ideal
