Job Title: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Are you a compassionate and experienced Nursing Home Manager with a passion for providing exceptional care to the elderly, including those with dementia? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Nursing Home Manager at our clients reputable facility in Nottingham.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
• Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, carers, and support staff, to deliver person-centered care to residents.
• Developing and implementing care plans tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of each resident.
• Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and ensuring adherence to relevant healthcare policies and procedures.
• Managing budgets effectively and optimizing resources to achieve financial targets.
• Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals to promote a supportive and collaborative environment.
• Continuously evaluating and improving the quality of care and services provided, implementing any necessary changes to enhance resident satisfaction and well-being.
• Providing leadership and support to staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager, preferably within a setting specializing in elderly and dementia care.
• A valid nursing qualification and registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the provision of care services in the UK.
• A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
