Job Role: Manage a 30 bed nursing unit
Salary: £47,000 per annum

Amber Mace have a fantastic new role with a reputable healthcare facility located in the heart of Liverpool, dedicated to providing high-quality and compassionate patient care. With a commitment to excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead a dedicated nursing team.

Role and Responsibilities:
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care within our facility. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing a team of skilled nurses to ensure efficient and effective operations of the unit.
• Overseeing patient care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and promoting a patient-centered approach.
• Providing mentorship, guidance, and ongoing support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care outcomes.
• Monitoring and evaluating nursing practices to maintain the highest standards of care quality and safety.
• Handling administrative duties, such as rostering, resource management, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to align with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Actively participating in performance improvement initiatives and contributing to the enhancement of healthcare services.

Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A valid nursing degree and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a clinical setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• A deep understanding of clinical best practices, patient assessment, and care planning.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards governing nursing practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of nurses.
• Proficiency in using healthcare management software and computer systems.
