Home: Small size: Care home for older adults
Hours: 40 hours a week plus 30 days holiday!

Job Description:
Amber Mace are currently recruiting a Registered Turnaround Manager for a small service based near Sandhurst, it is within easy driving distance of Aldershot, Woking, Windsor and Farnham. This service provides care for elderly residents. The current CQC rating is ‘Overall improvement required’ but is rated ‘Good’ in 3 out of 5 areas.

As the successful Home Manager, your role will be centred around the improvement of the service and ensuring the home meets CQC guidelines as well as the day to day running of the home. Your key responsibilities will include management of staff, care delivery to residents, recruitment, training and ensuring that the home is run in accordance with company and CQC policies.

My client is looking for an experienced, innovative and dynamic Manager with a proven track record of improving CQC ratings. You will be a highly motivated individual with a high level of personal drive and commitment to achieving the companies objectives.

Job Requirements:
• MUST have Registered Manager experience
• Proven track record of improving CQC ratings to ‘Good or Outstanding’
• Promote and maintain a high standard of care
• To ensure effective induction of all staff
• Overall management of the home
• Provide inspiring leadership to the team and oversee the delivery of high quality care.
• Conform with the latest guidelines, maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.

Skills/ Qualifications:
• Elderly / Dementia experience
• Have a positive attitude towards improving Standards of Care.
• Possess good, strong leadership skills and works well as part of a team.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager within the care sector
• RMA / NVQ 5 or equivalent
• Excellent CQC legislation knowledge and experience
• Marketing skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Good communication skills
