Amber Mace are currently recruiting for a Care Team Leader to join a supported living services based in Surrey who specialise in learning disabilities. You will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of care assistants ensuring that all individuals receive the highest standards of care possible.

As a Care Team Leader you will have working knowledge of person centred support and care planning, needs and risk assessment, safeguarding, first line supervision, health and safety, and equalities and human rights essential.

The role of Care Team Leader:
• Creating and managing staff rotas and timesheets
• Ensure the implementation of high standards of care
• Develop own knowledge and practice relative to continuous service improvement
• Supervise and mentor the care assistant team
• Supervise the induction and training of new starters

Skills/Qualifications required of the Care Team Leader:
• 1 years’ experience working in a supervisory position in a care home
• Experience working with learning disabilities and mental health preferred
• 3 years’ experience working within care
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
