Amber Mace are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join the team at a supported living service in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The service cares for those with learning disabilities, autism and additional complex needs, so experience within this area is a must.

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of support workers, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of the service, making sure that the learning disabilities of the people you support don’t inhibit their ability to live a varied and fulfilling life!

The role of Team Leader:
• Creating and managing staff rotas and timesheets
• Ensure the implementation of high standards of care
• Develop own knowledge and practice relative to continuous service improvement
• Supervise and mentor the nursing team
• Supervise the induction and training of new starters

Skills/Qualifications required of the Team Leader:
• Experience working in a supervisory position in a residential elderly home.
• Extensive experience working with the elderly
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
