Team Leader – Stoke on Trent – up to £21k per annum

Are you passionate about care? Are you looking for a new challenge in the health and social care sector? Amber Mace are currently looking for a Team Leader to join the team at a care service in Stoke on Trent paying a fantastic salary of upto £21k per annum – dependent on experience!

This is a fantastic service that provides care within the community to the elderly. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate care assistant or senior care assistant looking to make the next step in their career.

As Team Leader, you will be in charge of the day-to-day supervision of residents and staff. Your duties will centre on providing the highest standards of care residents within the community as well as ensuring that their physical, social and emotional needs are met.

Please note, this role is working days only!

Role requirements for the Team Leader:
• Supporting and supervising the team
• Training and development
• Developing therapeutic or beneficial relationships with residents/colleagues
• Delivering high standards of person-centred care
• Attend regular meetings
• Support the Management team in implementing personalised care plans, and reviewing and monitoring these on a regular basis

Skills/Qualifications for the Team Leader:
• NVQ level 3 or above
• Experience working in elderly/dementia care
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
