Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse to work 3 Fixed Nights shifts within a small nursing home in Worthing, The home provides nursing and residential care to the elderly, some of whom are living with dementia. They take a person centred approach to ensure that all the needs and wishes of residents are taken into count and catered for at all times and they have a real focus on the person rather than their condition – This is a warm, welcoming and homely service and really is a wonderful place to work! As staff nurse, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Providing a high standard of care
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
• Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care, for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team approach within a forensic setting.

Skills/ Qualifications:
• Hold a current Nurse PIN
• Experience in elderly/dementia care
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards.
