Amber Mace is currently recruiting for experienced Nurses to join the team at a lovely nursing home in Rotherham. The home provides nursing and residential care for the elderly, some of whom may be living with dementia or sensory impairment.

As staff nurse, you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent, person-centred care to the elderly residents of the home. You will also be responsible for administering medication, personal care, maintaining patient records and developing therapeutic relationships with the residents.

Skills/ Qualifications required of the Staff Nurse:
• Hold a current Nurse pin (RGN/RMN)
• Experience in elderly/dementia care
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards.
• A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
