Staff Nurse – Peterborough – £16/Hour

Amber Mace are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to work within a neurological care centre/nursing home in Peterborough. The team prides itself on providing the highest standards of specialist care and support services for elderly adults living with dementia and other complex issues including neurological disorders. The Staff Nurse role involves:
• Providing a high standard of care to people who are living with disabilities or conditions of varying severity
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
• Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team

Skills/ Qualifications required for the Staff Nurse position:
• Hold a current Nurse pin
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards
• A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
