Staff Nurse – Lostwithiel – £18.50ph+
Paid enhancements for weekend work and double time on bank holidays!!

This is not your usual Staff Nurse position… It is an opportunity to care for people with an amazing story to tell: their very own story of the life they have led and how they came to be where they are today. An opportunity to create a warm and friendly environment for those who can no longer live independently.

This is a role that provides the job satisfaction of caring for those who need the support and assistance to continue writing the next chapter in their adventure.

Amber Mace is currently looking for Staff Nurses to work within a medium-sized elderly nursing home in Lostwithiel. We have two NIGHT nurse positions and one DAY nurse position at 36 hours per week with available overtime.

My client is a privately-owned care home with nursing that provides specialist care for the elderly, some of whom are living with dementia or other age-related conditions. This home is part of a very reputable organisation and is a fantastic company to work for. My client will offer a range of benefits including enhancements for weekend night shifts, training & development, career progression and excellent pension contributions.
If you are a qualified nurse that is looking for a rewarding role working as part of an experienced and hard-working team, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with Charlotte at Amber Mace on 01904 571 187 or simply apply and we will be in touch.

A little bit about the job:
• Providing a high standard of care
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
• Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care, for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team approach within a forensic setting.

What we need from you:
• Hold a current Nurse pin
• Experience in elderly/dementia care desirable, although not essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards.

What’s in it for you?
• Job satisfaction and the chance to work with a friendly and supportive team
• Starting salary of £18.50ph (enhancements on weekends and double time for bank holidays!)
• Fantastic benefits package.
• Extensive training and career progression opportunities
