Salary: up to £25.20 p/h

Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse to join the team at a small Nursing Home in Ivybridge. The home provides nursing and residential care for residents with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Nurse Shift Enhancements
8pm – 6am Monday – Saturday = £20.16 p/h
Sundays and bank holidays = £25.20 p/h

Nurse Overtime Enhancements – over 37.5 hours worked in a week
Monday to Saturday = £22.68 p/h
Sundays and bank holidays = £30.24 p/h

Duties for Staff Nurse Include:
• Providing a high standard of care to residents
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
• Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care

Skills/ Qualifications required of the Staff Nurse:
• Hold a current Nurse pin (RNLD/RMN/RGN)
• Experience in learning or physical disabilities preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards
• A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
• Ability to work to own initiative
