Amber Mace are currently recruiting for a number of Senior Support Workers to join the team with a well-established Charity organisation. My client, a learning disability/physical disability residential service, are looking for a caring and professional Senior Support Workers to join their team.
The service is under new management and we are now looking for new team members to help strengthen the team to help turnaround the service.
As Senior Support Worker, you will support the service users in every aspect of their lives, so they can enjoy being full and active members of society. You will promote the implementation of person-centred-care, and have an empathetic and patient personality.
A little bit about the role:
Assist with personal care
Maintain and improve their overall health and well-being
Assist with behaviour
Participate in activities and days out etc.
Create individualised care plans
Uphold company standards and contribute to the improvement and recovery of the service.
As Senior Support Worker, you will ideally possess the following skills/qualifications:
Previous experience as a Support Worker ideally with adults but we will consider experience with children
Driving licence and own vehicle
Ability to work 40 hours per week.
Must be flexible to work any day.
Flexibility to do on-call duties and some sleep ins per week.
Confidence working with figures and a range of IT systems
As a Senior Support worker, you will have a Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care or be working towards the qualification.
This role would be suitable for Senior Support Worker, Support worker, Senior Care Assistant, Care Assistant, Team Leader or Care coordinator.
