Hours: 36 or 42 per week- alternate weekends

Amber Mace is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Staff Nurse to join the team at an outstanding specialist nurse-led and therapy driven nursing home near Sturminster Newton. The Senior Staff Nurse within the home, you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent, person-centred care to the residents of the home. You will also be responsible for administering medication, personal care, maintaining patient records and developing therapeutic relationships with the residents. The Role:
Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care
To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Commission for Social Care Inspection standards
Provide inspiring leadership to colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality nursing care.
Conform to the latest guidelines, maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care within the service
Skills/ Qualifications:
RMN/RNLD/RGN with current Nurse PIN
Have experience in a similar care environment
Strong clinical background
Proven ability to lead and supervise a team
