Amber Mace is working with an established Occupational Health provider looking to expand their team of Occupational Health Nurses in London with their Construction team. Our client provides effective service and advice on work related issues and health surveillance programmes.

They are offering a competitive salary for the ideal candidate, who will be ambitious, self-motivated and confident. This position provides you with the opportunity of establishing your own area, networking with clients and being part of a market leading team in the UK. You would be responsible for managing a team across multiple sites, so travel throughout London is essential. Most sites are in West London, but travel to East London will be required. Your role will include:
• Manage the clinical team in line with contractual requirements
• Required to provide full OH remit, including case management, health surveillance, health screening, pre-employment medicals/assessments, fitness for work, travel health, and emergency response.
• Provide advice to your service users to ensure a safe and health working environment for their employees
• Provide health promotion/initiatives and wellbeing advice
• Work within a multidisciplinary team providing OH screening, treatment and emergency response
• Support recruitment, selection and induction of team members

Requirements for the role:
• You must be a Registered nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid nurse pin
• Previous OH experience is essential
• Experience particularly in a construction setting is ideal
• Experience in a senior position or an experienced OH Nurse looking for a step up in responsibility
• Experienced in audiometry, spirometry, HAVS, skin assessments, fitness for work medicals, pre-placement questionnaires
