Position: Registered Manager
Salary: £37K – £40K
Service: Elderly/dementia Residential Home
A medium sized GOOD CQC rated care home in Honiton is currently looking for a Residential Manager to join their service. The home has excellent reviews and a fantastic local reputation!
As Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home. Your key responsibilities will centre on management of staff, care delivery to residents, recruitment, training and ensuring that the home is run in accordance with company and CQC policies.
Marketing the home and ensuring occupancy
Ensuring CQC compliance
Deliver excellent person-centred care and oversee all safeguarding issues
Promote and maintain a high standard of care
To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Commission for Social Care Inspection standards
Conform to the latest guidelines, maintain the highest levels of governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
To be eligible for this fantastic Home Manager opportunity all we need is a candidate who:
Have a positive attitude towards improving Standards of Care
Possess good, strong leadership skills and works well as part of a team
At least 1 years experience as a CQC Registered Manager within the care sector
Knowledge of quality standards
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
Has a strong understanding of CQC legislation
