An exciting new opportunity has recently arisen to oversee the running of a privately owned, medium-sized care home in Gloucester. The home is a beautiful Tudor building and is has achieved an overall “Good” in its most recent CQC. You will supervise and lead an experienced and friendly multi-disciplinary team and actively work to improve occupancy and effectively market the home. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service with the support of an experienced clinical Deputy Manager, ensuring CQC regulations are adhered to and improved where required.

As Home Manager, you will be able to:
• Provide person-centred care to the elderly residents
• Effectively market the home and increase/maintain occupancy
• Ensure CQC compliance & strive to attain an Outstanding
• Build, train and mentor your team to ensure the best care is provided creating an excellent working environment
• Provide a safe home away from home environment for the residents and a positive work place for the staff team

The successful candidate for the Manager will ideally possess the following skills/experience:
• NVQ 5 preferable or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience within the Health & social care sector
• Previous managerial experience in a care home.
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and motivate a team.
