Job Description:
As the Registered Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of care staff and promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, and respect throughout the organization. Utilizing your exceptional leadership and management skills, you will drive excellence in care provision and continuously strive to improve service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the smooth running of the care home, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Lead, manage, and develop a skilled care team, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Oversee care planning and risk assessments, ensuring individualized care plans are in place.
• Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the local community.
• Monitor and maintain the home's compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory bodies.
• Take an active role in recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
• Maintain accurate records and manage budgets efficiently.
Requirements:
• Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial role within the health and social care sector.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A passion for providing person-centered care to enhance residents' quality of life.
