On behalf of a highly successful yet still expanding organisation I am looking for a Regional Manager to cover the Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and Surrey area.

My client is a specialist provider of Nursing and Residential Care for older people and those affected by dementia. The organisation has a great reputation with strong core values and are looking for someone who shares their passion and commitment towards excellent care but who also appreciates the business side of such a senior role.

You will be responsible for the operational and care management of 6 nursing residential and dementia homes across Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and Surrey. You will need to be able to demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience at a similar level within the private healthcare sector and ideally you will hold a qualification in Management with a clinical background.

You will play a key part in the continued provision of excellent care and the ongoing success of their care homes. You must be fully aware of CQC standards in addition to displaying excellent business skills. You should have home development skills and exhibit a commercial focus when overseeing care homes. Successful candidates will display knowledge of budget management, business planning and service development. You will be required to attend meetings, liaise with outside agencies including CQC, Social services and relatives and therefore must be confident and articulate.

The ideal candidate will have
• At least two years continuous experience as a Regional Manager of Care Homes with a proven track record
• Hold an active PIN as a Registered Nurse
• Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) Guidelines.
• Gold Standard Framework for end of life Care
• Knowledge of Dementia Strategy and Dementia mapping is desired but not essential
• Clear DBS Check
• Able to drive
• Able to stay away from own home as required
• Able to undertake out of office hours visits, including nights and weekends
