The role:
You will be an expert in adult frailty nursing and end-of-life care, with the ability to provide best practice support and advice across their group of homes to enable staff to have a full understanding of high-quality clinical care.
Liaise with external agencies to both increase knowledge within the company and promote the companys nursing credentials.
You will role model outstanding clinical leadership.
You will support in the recruitment and retention of nurses, shaping and delivering clinical training and development of their Clinical Leads and Senior Nurses to ensure that all our homes are clinically well led and managed to a high standard.
You will also share responsibility for the development of Trainee Nursing Associates, Student Nurses etc
Youll be a confident coach and mentor, sharing best practice, challenging and improving areas of weaker practice.
You will drives forward the clinical and quality assurance through the analysis of clinical data and regular clinical governance reporting to evidence best care, demonstrating continuous improvement in care and service delivery as well as meeting regulatory compliance.
Skills/ Qualifications:
Elderly / Dementia experience
Nurse qualified with an active pin number
Possess good, strong leadership skills and works well as part of a team.
At least 2 years experience within a similar post
RMA / NVQ 5 or equivalent
Knowledge of quality standards
CQC legislation knowledge
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong planning and organisational skills
Good communication skills
