Are you an experienced Nursing Home Manager looking for a new challenge in a Multi-site role? Do you have a passion for providing excellent, person-centred care for the elderly?

Fiona at Amber Mace has an exciting new role for a Turnaround / Peripatetic Manager to work within the London and South of England, to manage elderly residential & nursing homes. You will be in charge of supporting in the operational management of the homes and the day-to-day running of them in the absence of their current manager. This will involve time travelling and may involve spending time away from home for which your expenses will be covered.

You will need access to your own transport, as the role requires travelling to my client’s head office and to other services in the area wherever management cover is needed.

The Peripatetic Home Manager role includes:
• Ensuring that high quality care is provided to all service users
• Recruit, train, induct and retain staff
• Maintain effective communication across the services
• Budget management
• Report to the Regional Care Director and work alongside them to promote the home and improve its status in the local community

What you will need:
• Management Certificate and valid PIN – RGN/ RMN/ RNLD
• Strong elderly/dementia knowledge
• 3 years’ experience managing a nursing service
