Role: Occupational Health Technician
Hours: Full time
Amber Mace is working with an established Occupational Health firm looking to expand their team of Occupational Health Technicians. Our client provides effective service and advice on work related issues and health surveillance programmes.
They are offering a competitive salary for the ideal candidate, who will be ambitious, self-motivated and confident. This position provides you with the opportunity of growing a network of clients throughout the UK. The successful candidate will be an experienced Occupational Health Technician and required to have a full, clean driving license, and able to drive a mobile screening unit. If you do not live near their head office in the North West, you will be required to have a parking space available for this mobile screening unit.

You will be responsible for providing pre-employment medicals and assessments
Undertake health surveillance screening, including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing, HAVS assessments
Undertake health screening procedures, including blood pressure and urinalysis
Ensure all information recorded appropriately
Provide advice on occupational health and wellbeing
Requirements for the role:
Previous Occupational Health Technician experience is essential
Proficient IT skills, Excellent communication skills
Personable, as you will be working closely with a number of clients throughout the UK
Full clean drivers licence, ability to drive a mobile screening unit
Willing to travel throughout the UK (over 90 miles you may be required to stay away overnight accommodation/food covered)
