Role: Occupational Health Technician
Salary: Up to £28k
Hours: Full time
Location: North East (nationwide travel)

Amber Mace are working with an innovative client, who are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Mobile Technician to cover the North East with nationwide travel when required. This role will include overnight stays, night shifts and evening shifts. The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated, looking to expand their current knowledge further. The successful candidate will be required to have a full, clean driving license, and able to drive a mobile screening unit. Role duties:
• You will be responsible for providing pre-employment medicals and assessments
• Undertake health surveillance screening, including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing, HAVS assessments
• Undertake health screening procedures, including blood pressure and urinalysis
• Ensure all information recorded appropriately
• Provide advice on occupational health and wellbeing

Requirements for the role:
• Previous Occupational Health Technician experience is essential
• Proficient IT skills, Excellent communication skills
• Full clean drivers licence, ability to drive a mobile screening unit, safe location to park overnight
• Willing to travel UK wide – you will be required to travel long distances and may need to work evenings, nights and stay away from home
• Ideally you will have training in spirometry, audiometry, HAVS 1 and 2
