Role: Occupational Health Technician
Salary: £21-24k, up to £28/29k with overtime
Hours: Full time (FTC 6 months – potential of continuation)
Location: Andover and surrounding areas (Andover, Poole, Portsmouth, Bristol, Oxford, Reading, Guildford)

Amber Mace is working with an established Occupational Health provider looking for an experienced Occupational Health Technician to for a Fixed Term Contract of 6 months, with a start date as soon as possible. There is a potential there will be a continuation of this thereafter. Our client provides effective service and advice on work related issues and health surveillance programmes. You will cover the following areas: Andover, Poole, Portsmouth, Bristol, Oxford, Reading and Guildford.

Role duties:
• You will be responsible for providing pre-employment medicals and assessments
• Undertake health surveillance screening, including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing, HAVS assessments
• Undertake health screening procedures, including blood pressure and urinalysis
• Ensure all information recorded appropriately
• Provide advice on occupational health and wellbeing

Requirements for the role:
• Previous Occupational Health Technician experience is essential
• Full clean drivers licence, willing to travel when required
• Able to drive a mobile screening unit, and a safe location to park this (i.e. driveway)
• Proficient IT skills, Excellent communication skills
