Position: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Somerset
Salary: Up to £65,000 per year (dependent upon experience)
Hours: Full-time, 42 hours per week

Our nursing home in Somerset is known for its warm and welcoming environment, providing a home away from home for our elderly residents.
Responsibilities:
-Lead, manage, and inspire a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
-Ensure the highest standard of care is provided to all residents, meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
-Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, including staff scheduling, budget management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, promoting open communication and trust.
-Implement and monitor care plans, adapting them to individual resident needs and collaborating with medical professionals when necessary.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services offered.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
-Experience in healthcare management, preferably within a nursing home setting.
-Nurse qualification is preferred but not essential; candidates with strong management experience in healthcare will also be considered.
-A deep passion for providing exceptional care to the elderly, with a person-centered approach.
-Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
-Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
-Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered attitude.
