As the Registered Manager, you will be based within an established, reputable care home situated in Dorchester. You will oversee the successful running of the service. The service is a small sized care home offering excellent standards of care for the elderly and those with Dementia. With glowing online testimonials from residents and relatives alike, the service needs somebody who can truly hit the ground running and ensure that the standards of care remain high and residents’ needs are the highest priority. Job Requirements for the Manager:

• You will be involved with all marketing and home promotion activities.

• You will take an active role in selling the home and developing links with local authorities and other outside organisations.

• You will implement all care and business strategies and you will be in charge of hiring the staff team

• You will join a caring, compassionate organisation whose primary aim is to ensure a high standard of life for all service users.

• You will ensure compliance with CQC standards and liaise effectively with CQC Inspectors.

• Candidates should display excellent business skills including successfully filling beds and developing the homes profile within the local community.

Registered Manager – What we would like from you:

• Excellent understanding on CQC, CCGs and all regulatory bodies
• Previous Care Home Management Experience within a similar setting
• Nurse qualified
• Experience working with the Elderly in a Healthcare setting
• Passion for working within care
• NVQ Level 5 (Ideally)
• Drives and Access to car
