Nurse Manager – East Sussex – up to £48k – small service

Hayley at Amber Mace is currently recruiting for an experienced Home Manager to work within a small sized nursing home located in East Sussex. The home caters for elderly residents that require nursing care, some of whom are living with dementia or other age-related conditions.

My client seeks a dynamic, compassionate and enthusiastic manager to take the helm at their service. You will supervise and lead an experienced and friendly multi-disciplinary team and will oversee the day-to-day running of the home, providing clinical expertise where needed.

Job description for Nursing Home Manager:
• Actively filling beds and selling the home
• Recruitment and training of staff
• Ensure CQC compliance & Improvement
• Developing links with local authorities and other outside organisations
• Deliver person centred care and oversee all safeguarding issues

The successful candidate for the Nursing Home Manager will ideally possess the following skills/experience:
• A valid Nursing PIN
• CQC legislation knowledge
• Elderly care experience
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
