My client is currently looking for a Locality Manager to oversee 3/4 of their services within the Gloucester area. This fantastic opportunity will allow you the chance to be an effective coach and mentor and allow your person-centred approach to lead your team to success and provide the highest level of care.

The services are owned by one of the UK’s leading learning disability care providers. They have a fantastic senior management team and are keen to appoint a Locality Manager that can grow with the services and the company. The company has an excellent reputation within the area and consistently strive to ensure the provision of the highest quality service to their Service Users.

The role of Locality Manager will include:
• Ensure the health and wellbeing of the people we support, in line with CQC Guidelines
• Building strong relationships with a number of health professionals to ensure the need of the people we support are met in a responsive and effective manner.
• Develop open and trusting relationships with families, friends and circles of support
• Ensure the service meets all organisational and statutory requirements and complies with CQC Guidelines and our own standards, policies and procedures.
• Make sure complaints are dealt with in line with our policies
• Accountable for the budget and finance for the Locality

Successful candidates will have;
• Demonstrable experience of successfully leading teams
• Experience working with people with learning disabilities and/or autism
• RMA/NVQ 4/NVQ Level 5
• Multi-site management experience
• Sound knowledge and understanding of CQC legislation
• Full driving license and access to car
